A Little About Us

This is a local air duct cleaning outfit, not a franchise desk routing your call somewhere else. When you ring, you reach the people who will be doing the job.

Bonita Springs sits on the Southwest Florida Gulf coast, flat and sandy at the edge of mangrove and estuary, with a high water table and almost no elevation to speak of. That geography sets the terms for every duct system in Lee and Collier counties. The cooling load rarely stops, summer dew points sit in the mid-70s, and for long stretches the only thing your air conditioner is fighting is humidity. Add Gulf salt aerosol near the water, oak and pine pollen in late winter, bahia and ragweed after that, Saharan dust episodes in summer, lovebug season, and agricultural dust blowing in from inland Collier and Hendry farmland. We also still see Hurricane Ian repair dust and flood moisture working through older housing stock three years on.

The calls split along housing era. The 1960s block ranches here have retrofit or early ducted central air, often with tight returns and liner that has been damp more than once. The post-1990 two-story and high-ceiling homes have long flex runs stretched across unconditioned attics, and those are where we find supply trunks sweating, attic condensation staining ceilings, and microbial growth on damp fiberglass liner and blower wheels. On site the crew runs a truck-mounted vacuum, seals off every register so the system pulls under negative pressure, then works the trunks and branches with rotary brushes and whips so the debris has somewhere to go. We pull and clean the blower wheel when it needs it, because a loaded wheel undoes the rest of the work. We service Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, and American Standard equipment, and we handle both rigid sheet metal and flex. If we see a sweating trunk or disconnected run, we say so and point you toward duct sealing instead of cleaning something that will reload in a month. Same with a plugged evaporator, that is coil cleaning, not a duct problem.

We also tell people when their ducts are fine. A three-year-old home in Bonita Bay with a decent filter and no moisture history usually does not need a cleaning, and we would rather put you on a sensible filter replacement schedule than sell you work you can skip. When cleaning is warranted, what moves the number on this job is the count of supply and return runs, whether the system is flex in an attic or rigid in a slab-era ranch, how far the crew has to drag hose from the truck in a two-story layout, whether the blower wheel and plenum need to come apart, and whether there is active microbial growth on liner that changes the scope. We walk the attic and look in the return before we quote anything, and you will hear the reasoning out loud.

Our service area

We cover Bonita Springs and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a air duct cleaning problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.

When cleaning the ducts is the wrong fix

Most calls start at a garage closet. That is where slab-built Florida homes park the air handler. Open the door and look at the return plenum. Gray fiberglass board, not metal, changes the plan. Brushes mill that face into dust. Soft or damp board gets sealed or rebuilt instead.

Next stop is the attic. Flex runs sag between trusses up there. After Ian, many roofs came off. Roofers walk those bays while working. Crushed jacket and torn inner liner are common now. A torn liner sheds insulation into the airstream. Cleaning that run is money spent twice.

Then we ask why the dust returned. One hallway filter grille does most of the breathing in these houses. Undersize it and the closet leaks air inward. The system drinks attic dust and garage air. Sealing the cabinet keeps ducts clean longer than brushing does.

Condensation is a separate problem wearing the same costume. Supply trunks sweat in an attic through rainy season. Wet fiberglass grows things that smell. That is an insulation and air-sealing repair, not a cleaning. Clean it in April and it is damp again by August.
